Day 1 : Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) - Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives who will transfer you and your luggage to your booked hotel in Arusha. Our representative will assist you with check-in formalities at the hotel so you can relax and recharge after what’s probably been a long flight.
Renowned as Tanzania’s safari capital, Arusha, serves as a gateway to most of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Nestled at the base of majestic Mount Meru – Tanzania’s second highest peak, it boasts a temperate climate throughout the year, owing to its elevated position at approximately 1300 meters above sea level. Despite its bustling ambiance, Arusha stands as the ideal launchpad to world-class destinations, offering unforgettable experiences.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari driver-guide stands ready to usher you into the enchanting realm of Tarangire National Park.The park is a vital part of an extensive ecosystem, unfolds southeast of Lake Manyara National Park along the Tarangire River.
Offering an authentic and stylish game-viewing experience, it’s a classic dry-season destination, particularly from July to October, showcasing one of Tanzania’s highest wildlife concentrations. Known as the elephant playground, it hosts a remarkable number until late October when the short-wet season prompts migration.
Throughout the year, encounter hartebeests, wildebeests, zebras, elands, lesser kudus, gazelles, waterbucks, giraffes, impalas, and occasionally leopards or rhinos, making Tarangire a wildlife haven in every season. This region preserves the authentic romance of an African safari.As the day concludes, a scenic drive takes you to your lodge, where comfort and a delightful dinner await.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Following an early morning breakfast, you venture out to Lake Manyara.Famous for its tree-climbing lions and seasonal flocks of flamingos that turn the lake pink, Lake Manyara sits at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Though it spans 330km², much of it submerged by water, yet the park remains wildly beautiful, game-rich, and incredibly rewarding.
Buffalo, zebra, elephant, giraffe, wildebeest often become the highlight of the park, offering incredible game-viewing opportunities.Venture further, and you’ll find over 400 bird species, including White-rumped Swift, Kori Bustard, Little Ringed Plover, and many birds of prey.
After lunch inside the park, you visit a Maasai village for a firsthand look in their culture before heading to your lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight.In the late afternoon, make your way to the lodge in Mto wa Mbu for a restful overnight stay, allowing the day’s extraordinary encounters to linger in your memory.

Day 4 & 5 : Central Serengeti Full Day
Wake up for a sumptuous breakfast and leave for central Serengeti. Among the countless species that call Serengeti home, the central area hosts a remarkable diversity, with hundreds of thousands of animals roaming freely. Here, the predators reign supreme, engaging in their regal pursuits amidst the abundant prey.
Witness the spectacle of nearly eight thousand spotted hyenas, organized into formidable clans, alongside three thousand majestic lions, distinguished by their characteristic black manes. In addition to these apex predators, cheetahs, leopards, and bat-eared foxes also grace the landscape, contributing to the rich tapestry of Serengeti’s ecosystem. Scavengers, including golden and side-striped jackals, as well as various vulture species, play their vital roles in this intricate web of life.
With over 520 bird species, Serengeti is a haven for avian enthusiasts, offering sightings of numerous raptors and migratory birds. Amidst the vast horizons and open plains, the sight of wildebeests, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, and playful bat-eared foxes bathed in the morning sun is unforgettable. Experience the tranquility of the wilderness, appreciating the interconnectedness of all living things and cherishing the privilege of witnessing nature’s wonders firsthand.

Day 6 & 7: South Serengeti (Ndutu)
Venture out on a thrilling day of game-viewing, exploring the southern Serengeti plains near Ndutu after a delicious breakfast. The Ndutu area, located in the southern Serengeti and part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is a prime location for witnessing the calving season. The calving season in Serengeti, a key part of the Great Migration, offering a unique opportunity to witness the birth of thousands of calves, while predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas bring action-packed experiences.
Ndutu is especially famous for cheetah sightings, and features rocky hills, or koppies that harbor diverse wildlife with opportunities for off-road exploration, making it a photographer’s delight. Witness a diverse array of wildlife, from bat-eared foxes to majestic lions, ostriches, secretary birds, eland antelopes, and more. A pride of lions that inhabits the koppies offers an exciting nocturnal soundtrack and easy morning sightings.
Lake Ndutu, a focal point during the wildebeest dispersal, promises dramatic game viewing during and after the calving season.Enjoy a full-day game-viewing drives during the 7th day to Moru Koppies, exploring the rich wildlife of the region, transfer back to your lodge in early evening, savoring the culmination of an extraordinary day.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
Venture out on another mesmerizing adventure to Lake Manyara right after an early morning breakfast. While Lake Manyara may lack the raw drama and sheer abundance of wildlife found in other destinations across the northern safari circuit, its secluded areas unveil a unique treasure trove of natural wonders.
What distinguishes Lake Manyara and positions it among our favorites is its rich avian population, elusive tree-climbing lions (though sightings are rare), and the alkaline lake, which, during certain seasons, becomes a haven for tens of thousands of flamingos. Additionally, the park is home to a diverse array of wildlife and offers great opportunities to observe hippos at closer range.
Depending on the season of the year, nearly two-thirds of the park’s total area is submerged by the lake. Despite its small size, L. Manyara boasts diverse vegetation zones, ranging from savanna to marshes and acacia woodlands. This diversity supports a wide range of habitats, providing a unique glimpse into wildlife in its natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated spots.
Journey back to Arusha in the late afternoon and transfer to the airport for your homeward flight or to other destinations. In these fleeting moments, time, you will feel, is too short.
